Need plans Wednesday? Cheap Date Deal Alert!

The heat has broke, the rain has (mostly!) stopped, and it’s feeling pretty great to be outside these days.  If you are looking for a way to take advantage tomorrow, Wednesday, August 7, 2013, head over to the Penn Museum’s verdant courtyard from 5-8pm for their Summer Nights Concert series!  This week they are hosting the Kalob Griffin Band, better known to its devoted fans as the KGB. This Pennsylvania-bred, Philadelphia-based outfit of Americana rock n’ rollers strive to provide listeners with an energetic and unique “KGB family” experience that’s built around a variety of influences, tapping into multiple genres. Regular admission is only $5, which makes this a cheap date every week, but this Wednesday you will get TWO FOR ONE entry when you mention Cheap Date Philadelphia! Admission to the concert also gets you into to the Museum where you can explore on your own the mystical Sphinx Gallery and other wonders from around the world.  There will also be food and drink available in the courtyard’s garden bar.
